周末一不小心看到娃的英语课本，随便一翻教材翻到UNESCO World Heritage, dim sum, frostbite 😱
这是六年级的教材内容？
哇，这不是我大学考口译的时候才学到的词汇吗！
三年没管过孩子的英语了，怎么教材难度一下子提升到这个地步了！
我初一才开始学ABC， good morning, how are you? Fine, and you. 现在娃六年级就已经在“真正”地开口说英语，学习用得上的英语了。

在教材扉页，致同学里强调“在学习英语的同时，探索新世界，思考大问题Big Question, 在真实情境中讲文化小故事，悟人生大道理，学百科新知识，用英语做事情。”
完美地总结了初中英语的宗旨，已经不是死记硬背考一个高分那么简单了，而有效的学习英语不应该也不用死记硬背。更加强调语言的活学活用，而如何活学活用，路径只有一条，就是大量的输入，才能有输出。大量的听和读，泛读泛听，才能感觉到课内的轻松。
虽然有点后悔为什么三年级开始没有花精力花时间继续做亲子陪伴阅读，但也确实不确定哪条路更好。顺其自然吧～ 过去三年虽然英语上花的时间少，但在大量地读中文书，科技，化学，历史，地理甚至法律，积累了很多知识，现在读英文类non-fiction 只是需要轻轻用“翻译”点播一下就能懂了，内心也宽慰一下自己：还来得及，还来得及，早日也能实现英语自主阅读的！
