【突破】该对话文本的理解性困难很少，更多的是语言点（want to do, need to do, it’s important to do）以及习惯用法“what’s the matter, I’m afraid ..., here he comes”。教师更要关注其中的“Problem-solving”的主题意义和相应的交往策略。可以使用下方图表，结合A部分的Let’s talk进行综合解读。该表格也可服务于Choose and talk板块，并在下一页的Let’s learn板块中用于引导。

The problems

John wants to go to the children's centre, but Mike wants to clean up the park. They don’t agree with each other.

They have to finish their project by Monday. 

Mike’s feeling

He feels sad and worried.

John’s feeling

He’s afraid Mike is angry with him.

Solution 1: Friends’ advice/help

They can do both. / Chen Jie can help them and work together.

Solution 2: Parents’ and teachers’ advice/help

It’s important to listen to each other.

Solution 3: Self-reflection(自我反思)
